The Internet is a remarkable medium. Don’t you think?

It allows you and me to reach out to other people virtually anywhere in the world.

It enables us to publish our thoughts instantly, sell our products to a global market, or just chat about the latest Paris Hilton incident.

And yet, because everyone has the ability to do that, what tends to happen is that the overall noise gets louder - and in order for others to hear us, we have to do one of two things: either we speak louder, or we get better at influencing others.

Speaking louder is easy when you have money. If you have $1 billion dollars, you can buy a $1 billion dollar voice.

Fortunately, you don’t need $1 billion dollars for the second option. Everyone can learn to get better at influencing others.

For instance, take Cialdini’s Weapons of Influence - you may have already heard of them, they are: reciprocation, social proof, authority, commitment and consistency, scarcity, and liking.

If you are selling to others, or using the Internet to influence others, then you need to understand not only what those principles of influence are, but also how and when to use them in this unique communications medium.

In other words, you want to create “Internet Influence Magic” - am I right?

And that, my friends, is the purpose of this blog - to show you how you can use these principles of influence to succeed online.

Make no mistake, you need to have a razor-sharp understanding of these principles - because if you don’t, your competitors will.

That’s why you need to subscribe to this blog right now, because we’re about to go on a journey of discovery together, and I’d like you to come along for the ride.

It’s going to be fun!

The first stop on our journey will be: Reciprocation.

By the way, on a completely unrelated note, I welcome comments on this blog. If you comment on my blog (even if it’s just to say Hello!) then I will comment on yours.
