Thanks for the kind words, Paul! It's very important for us to keep track of what people are saying about AutoRoll, and we make a concerted effort to discover and respond to these discussions so that our users understand that we appreciate what they have to say about the product.

@Dee - I actually found your post on Technorati before I knew that our Product Manager had contacted you, but either way, we're glad to have you as a user!

@Tinu - that's a great idea. Your staff have always got something to be grateful for, because it's your customers that keep your staff in jobs :) Thanks for the comment.

@Dee - well, it's still impressive that they asked you to give it a try, and then supported your decision. I've heard of MyBlogLog but not so familiar with Spock.com, so I'll have to take a look. Thanks for your comment!

First of all thanks for the mention Paul. Although I have really appreciated Criteo stopping by and thanking me for the post, it didn't exactly happen magically. What happened was that their project manager emailed me asking me to give AutoRoll a try, I liked it and decided to write about it and emailed him back with a link to my post. So I guess they kinda turned me into an evangelist.
If I'd give full credit for a company for their marketing efforts it's Spock.com and MyBlogLog.com ... as they have found my posts on their own and took the time to answer my questions.

Absolutely essential insight - I make my staff sign our emails with some form of gratitude... and of course I request that they mean it, of course you can't force the actual feeling of gratitude. I'm confident that they do find something to be grateful for in each interaction, and if nothing else, the inistence is a reminder. I pretty much *am* the evangelist, so there's that.

But the simple act of thanking can show how supportive you are, because most people, don't say it. Even when they think it. I'm enjoying your blog - thank you for all your thoughts expressed.
